Douglas Thompson
Mr. Thompson is Principal and lead landscape architect of LandscapeDE. He has a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Louisiana State University and has 11 years design experience. Douglas embraces the paradigm of biophillic design as the basis for his work. Through his design explorations, he seeks to interpose organic functions and mechanisms that disrupt the rigid infrastructure of the contemporary urban environment in a way that can lead to meaningful and positive changes in the relationship between people and nature

Ebru Özer
Ebru Özer is a principal at LandscapeDE and also a professor of landscape architecture at Florida International University. Her interest in the connections between humanity and nature are at the core of her research, teaching, and creative work. Utilizing her educational and professional background in both architecture and landscape architecture, her explorations and works have focused on examining applied strategies in sustainable design. Ebru holds a master’s degree in landscape architecture from Louisiana State University and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey. She is also currently a Ph.D. candidate in civil engineering.
