LandscapeDE was hired by Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces to develop a new nature-based playground for Kendall Indian Hammocks Park. The design is set within an existing hammock of live oaks and all existing trees were preserved for the new design. Extensive landscaping throughout the site emphasizes native trees and plants. The design also incorporates logs as seating and play elements from invasive Australian Pine trees removed from another park site.
